Murals

The LA 21 Partnership supports creative projects in Cape Town and Aachen since 2000. Several projects, in which artists have created wall paintings, have been realized until now. South African and German artists have engaged on intensive intercultural debate prior to the development of visual statements on the topics globalization, sustainability and living conditions.

The core goal of the LA21 Partnership and Mural Global Project is to foster work across the borders of the continents, cultures and languages. In addition the artists work in artistic-pedagogical projects with children and young adults in schools and universities. By doing that, the creative experience and the developed techniques are passed on to the young generation.
