This study project at Aachen University of Applied Sciences is a series of teaching projects spanning several semesters in the Department of Design in cooperation with Hack your Shack gGmbH in Berlin.
The cooperation between FH Aachen and the NGO was established during the RWTH Aachen University project ‘The Shack’, which was also carried out in cooperation with Hack your Shack gGmbH in Aachen in the summer semester of 2023 link. Students from the University of Applied Sciences helped build the shack, and Professor Sönke Hoof showed a strong interest in his department participating in further activities related to ‘The Shack’.
This idea has (so far) resulted in three consecutive teaching projects:
