The ASA program is an exchange program to enhance sustainable development and intercultural exchange. It supports young people who recognize global interdependencies and want to transform them. Overall, the program is interesting to young professionals who want to learn about and collect first experiences in the field of development cooperation.
The exchange program is funded by the German government and establishes connections across non-governmental organizations, research institutes and private enterprises. Partner countries of the program range from Latin America, over Asia to Africa and Europe. In the year 2024 over 145 projects are carried out.
