As part of their four-week tour through Germany, the Youth Unlimited football team from Khayelitsha visited Aachen from 19th to 22nd May 2003 at the invitation of the Caritas Association and the DFB.

The Aacheners involved in the partnership as well as and the DPSG scouts from Aachen-Eilendorf and Alemannia Aachen as football partners had put together a varied programme for the 16 to 18-year-olds. Four years later, a representative of Caritas International visited the footballers in Khayelitsha to see how the boys had developed.
